Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before booking your photography session. By making a booking and payment, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
1. Booking & Payment
Your appointment is not confirmed until the required payment or booking fee has been received.
Once your booking is confirmed, your chosen date and time are reserved specifically for you and are no longer available for another client.
Maternity Sessions
Maternity sessions are £125 and are payable in full at the time of booking.
Family Sessions
Family sessions are £125 and are payable in full at the time of booking.
Cake Smash Sessions
Cake Smash sessions are £125 and are payable in full at the time of booking.
Newborn Sessions
A £50 booking fee is required to secure your newborn session.
The booking fee forms part of your total session price and is not an additional charge.
Newborn packages are currently:
* £160
* £225
* £299
The remaining balance is payable no later than 48 hours before your session, unless otherwise agreed.
The £50 newborn booking fee is non-refundable, subject to your statutory rights.

2. Fully Paid Sessions
Maternity, Family and Cake Smash sessions are paid in full when booking.
If you need to cancel a fully paid session, please contact me as soon as possible.
As your appointment has been reserved specifically for you, cancellation may result in an amount being deducted from any refund to cover reasonable losses arising from the cancellation.
This may take into account:
* The amount of notice provided
* Whether preparation or other work has already been undertaken
* Any costs already incurred in connection with your session
* Whether I am reasonably able to refill your appointment
Where I am able to refill your appointment and therefore reduce my loss, this will be taken into consideration when determining any refund due.

3. Cancellations
I understand that plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel your session, please contact me as soon as possible.
Appointments are reserved specifically for each client and cancellations, particularly at short notice, can result in an appointment that I am unable to offer to somebody else.
Any applicable booking fee is non-refundable, subject to your statutory rights.
Where additional payments have already been made, any amount retained following cancellation will be reasonable and proportionate to the loss caused by the cancellation.
Any appropriate refund will take into consideration the notice provided, work or preparation already carried out, costs already incurred and whether the appointment can reasonably be refilled.

4. Short-Notice Cancellations
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice can be particularly difficult to refill.
Where a short-notice cancellation causes a financial loss, I reserve the right to retain an appropriate amount from payments already made to reflect that loss and any reasonable costs already incurred.
This does not affect your statutory rights.

5. Rescheduling
If you need to move your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible.
I will always try to help where reasonably possible; however, all rescheduling is subject to availability.
An alternative date or time cannot be guaranteed.
If you have limited availability due to travel arrangements, work commitments, other appointments or personal arrangements, please ensure that the date and time you select when booking are suitable.
If you subsequently cannot attend your agreed appointment and I do not have another suitable appointment available, this will be treated as a client cancellation.
Repeated requests to reschedule may require a new booking fee or payment.

6. Newborn Sessions
A £50 non-refundable booking fee secures your newborn session and is deducted from the final cost of your chosen package.
If you need to reschedule your newborn session, please contact me as soon as possible.
I appreciate that the timing of a baby’s arrival cannot always be predicted, so reasonable flexibility will be offered around newborn bookings where necessary.
If you cancel your newborn session completely, the £50 booking fee will not normally be refunded, subject to your statutory rights.
If you have already paid some or all of your remaining package balance, any refund of that additional payment will be considered in accordance with the cancellation terms above.

Christmas Minis
Christmas Mini Sessions
Christmas Mini Sessions are £79.
A booking fee is required to secure your chosen Christmas Mini appointment.
The booking fee forms part of the total £79 price and is not an additional charge.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 48 hours before your session.
The Christmas Mini booking fee is non-refundable
Christmas Mini Rescheduling
Christmas Mini Sessions take place on limited, specific dates and cannot normally be rescheduled.
If exceptional circumstances arise and another Christmas Mini appointment is available, I may agree to move your appointment at my discretion. However, an alternative appointment cannot be guaranteed.
If you are unable to attend your original appointment or unable to attend another Christmas Mini appointment i have available, this will be treated as a client cancellation.
Child Cooperation & Behaviour
Every effort will be made by Little You Photography to help children feel comfortable and to capture the best possible images during your allocated session time. However, due to the nature of working with children, specific expressions, poses, smiles or a particular number or variety of images cannot be guaranteed.
If a child is unwilling to participate, becomes upset, refuses to be photographed or does not cooperate during the session, the photographer will continue to work with the child for the remainder of the allocated session time where appropriate.
A child's unwillingness to participate or cooperate does not constitute a fault on the part of the photographer and does not entitle the client to a refund, complimentary reshoot or additional session time.
Any reshoot or alternative appointment offered in these circumstances will be entirely at the photographer's discretion and subject to availability.
Cancellations, Illness & Last-Minute Changes
Christmas Mini Sessions are limited, time-specific appointments. Your booking reserves a session slot exclusively for you, and a minimum of 48 hours' notice is required if you need to cancel or request a change to your appointment.
I completely understand that children can become unexpectedly unwell. If you need to cancel at short notice due to illness, please contact Little You Photography as soon as possible.
Where another Christmas Mini Session appointment is available, I will do my best to offer you one alternative session. Alternative appointments are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Only one replacement/retry Christmas Mini Session will be offered. If you are unable to attend the replacement appointment, or your child is unable to participate at the replacement session, a further Christmas Mini Session will not be provided.
If there are no remaining Christmas Mini Session appointments available, the amount you have already paid will be transferred to a credit note, which can be used towards a future session with Little You Photography.
A credit note does not guarantee availability for another Christmas Mini Session and is intended to be used towards a future photography session.
Failure to attend your booked session without contacting Little You Photography will be treated as a no-show and is not eligible for a replacement session or credit note.

8. Illness
Please do not attend your photography session if you or your child has a contagious illness.
If illness prevents you from attending, please contact me as soon as possible.
For Maternity, Family, Cake Smash and Newborn sessions, I will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative date where possible.
All alternative appointments are subject to availability.
Due to their limited seasonal nature, Christmas Mini Sessions cannot normally be rescheduled. Where I have another suitable Christmas Mini appointment available, I may offer this at my discretion.

9. Lateness
Please arrive on time and ready to begin at your booked appointment time.
Sessions are scheduled around other clients, so I cannot guarantee additional time if you arrive late.
If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened so that it still finishes at the originally scheduled time.
If you arrive so late that there is insufficient time to reasonably carry out your session without affecting another client’s appointment, I may be unable to proceed with the session.
No refund or reduction in session price will normally be provided for photography time lost as a result of the client’s late arrival, subject to your statutory rights.
This is particularly important for Christmas Mini Sessions, which operate to a strict schedule.

10. No-Shows
If you fail to attend your appointment without contacting me, your booking will be treated as a no-show.
As your appointment has been reserved specifically for you and can no longer be offered to another client, payments already made may be retained to reflect the resulting loss.
If you wish to arrange another session following a no-show, a new booking and payment or booking fee may be required.

11. Cancellation by the Photographer
In the unlikely event that I need to cancel your session due to illness, emergency or circumstances outside my reasonable control, I will make every reasonable effort to offer you a suitable alternative appointment.
If I cancel your session and we cannot agree on a suitable replacement appointment, you will receive an appropriate refund for services that have not been provided.

12. Images & Final Payment
All outstanding balances must be paid before final images are released.
Photography is a creative service. By booking with me, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to view examples of my work and are familiar with my photographic and editing style.
Once your agreed final images have been supplied, refunds will not normally be given simply because of a change of mind or subjective preferences regarding photographic or editing style.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where services have not been provided with reasonable care and skill or where you are otherwise legally entitled to a remedy.

13. Agreement to These Terms
By making payment or paying the applicable booking fee, you confirm that you have been provided with these Terms & Conditions and agree to the conditions applicable to your booking.
Please make sure that you are happy with your chosen date and time before completing your booking.
Once an appointment has been confirmed, I cannot guarantee that an earlier, later or alternative appointment will be available.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
